MSK Doctors Research exists because better musculoskeletal care requires more than opinion-based medicine. It requires the discipline to ask hard questions, the rigour to answer them, and the proximity to clinical reality to translate answers back into practice.
We invest in the slow work of long-term outcome studies, in the technical work of building digital health platforms, and in the public work of publishing what we find — including when the findings are inconvenient.

Identify the unmet clinical need
Every programme starts at the bedside. We listen to surgeons, patients, and physiotherapists to surface the questions current practice cannot yet answer.

Studies are scoped to be both methodologically sound and feasible in real clinical workflow — pre-registered, ethics-approved, and outcome-driven.

Generate independent evidence
We collect our own longitudinal data, audit it, peer-review it, and publish — not relying on manufacturer claims or convenience samples.

Each completed study feeds protocol updates, AI model refinement, and the next generation of clinical pathways our patients receive.
